Finalist for the Best WBC-Paper Award
Congratulations to Daniel Leidner, Alexander Dietrich, Alin Albu-Schaeffer, and Michael Beetz. Their article "Knowledge-enabled parameterization of whole-body control strategies for compliant service robots" published in Autonomous Robots, 40(3):519-536, 2016 has been selected by the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Whole-Body Control Awards 2016 as a finalist for the Best WBC-Paper Award. Daniel is a research associate at the DLR Robotics and Mechatronics Institute in Oberpfaffenhofen and candidate for a doctoral degree in the AI Institute at the University of Bremen. All co-authors are involved in the EASE project R4 "Specializing and optimizing generic robot plans"
