Emacs in the CRAM environment

Using Emacs with CRAM is not all too different from using Emacs in any other LISP programming context. Here are some basic techniques to make your life easier when working with it.

Definitions

An Emacs buffer is the equivalent of window / tab in other editors. It can have a file associated with it that you can (or cannot depending on the privileges) edit, or it can be running a process (e.g. when you open the shell: M-x shell). The minibuffer is usually a one-lin…

Things I would change:

	* Separate the 'Setting Up' Chapter into another Tutorial since it is a bit overwhelming how long the Tutorial is. Removing this Chapter would make it appear slimmer.
	* For the Emacs part print out the shortcuts or link them on the side, such that nobody needs to scroll all the way up.

Machine Learning through NEEMS

This lecture teaches about narrative enabled episode memories (NEEMS) held by Sebastian Koralewski.

Nowadays machine learning is applicable for a large variety of cases. This lecture shows how to use the recordings of activities performed by a robot in a kitchen environment to predict a likely course of action, based on the observed data and their probability of success, e.g. setting up a table for breakfast, or cleaning it up afterward.

Accessing Episodes recorded in Virtual Reality

This tutorial will teach you how to access the events and the data in the episodes that have been recorded previously in the Virtual Reality environment.

Abstract

In order to enable robots to perform every day activities with ease, they need to know when to do what. And who could be a better teacher then the human who wants the robots to perform these tasks? But instead of having us humans explain to the robots what to do, it is easier to just sh…
