Bremen Big Data Challenge 2019 completed!

Once again this year, students from Bremen and the surrounding area participated in the Bremen Big Data Challenge (BBDC) organized by the Cognitive Systems Lab (CSL) of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bremen University. The challenge started on March 1st and lasted for four weeks. During this time students had to solve a task from the field of big data by means of machine learning.

This year, EASE supported the challenge by making data available for activity recognition. A total of 115 students in 61 teams participated in the challenge to develop solutions. All teams achieved excellent results, but the winners even managed to recognize all activities without errors. Congratulations!

The award ceremony took place on May 8, 2019 at the CSL. The final results can be found at:
