New Exhibition: “Robotic Worlds” at Die Neue Sammlung

EASE PI Prof. Gordon Cheng (TU Munich) is co-curating a new exhibition titled “Robotic Worlds,” now showing at Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum in Munich.

The exhibition explores the historical and functional evolution of robots, bridging the gap between human imagination and cutting-edge engineering. Visitors can experience a diverse range of exhibits, from iconic robotic toys of the 1960s to modern milestones in research. A highlight of the gallery includes spectacular, life-sized humanoid robots on loan from the Chair for Cognitive Systems at TUM, showcasing real-world applications in healthcare, domestic assistance, and rescue missions.

Robotic Worlds offers a unique perspective on how design influences our trust and interaction with machines as they become an integral part of our daily lives.
